Today has been a long day. I was up around 2 a.m. to help drive my grandma an hour and a half to her surgery. Now, arriving home at 4, it feels good to be done. I don’t feel the need to say something profound. Sometimes the thing we need most is rest. While I was waiting today, I spent some time getting more comfortable using VSCode to design the user interface to control my robot arm. I am trying to learn more gradually. Stripping back the expectation of success allows me to enjoy the process a bit more. Do something small, don’t feel bad about it. Usually, I would feel bad before I did anything, fearing that I would not be able to reach difficult goals. Nothing was gained. Allow the compound interest of your effort to accumulate gradually over time. If this post does anything, I hope that it encourages you to keep going. Things pay off with time. Longer posts will come—when I have something worthwhile to write.
Good luck!
