Sometimes in life, it can be easy to become lost in the ordinary problems of today. It is natural to believe that you are not special, and to think that your life is just one amongst countless others. To help you, I want to offer an opportunity for you to zoom out and see that your life is not insignificant. It is remarkable and important, and the lives of those around you are not separate, but deeply interconnected. Your history begins not with your birth, but with the birth of the universe, and your future ends not with your death, but continues on indefinitely in your transformation.
Look upon the sky.
In this moment, the universe presents herself to you.
She bathes you in her beauty.
She envelopes you.
If you listen closely, you can hear her voice.
And if you breathe deeply, You can feel her breathing into you.
She lives through you.
when you laugh, she echoes your laughter
And when you cry, she cries also.
Your tapestry is woven by her hand.
and all of her works are woven as one.
You are inseparable from the sky.
And you are eternally linked to the earth.
You have the same nature as the fly
And the spider that shall consume her.
You share your life with the guilty
And with the innocent.
You live for all that is living.
And everything is alive.
You are a continuation of the life that has been in you since the beginning.
Just as your mother holds within her the same life as her mother,
you too carry the flame of your past.
The continuation that will succeed you is born in all of your actions.
Your continuation will live on to affect everything in the world.
Nothing is complete without your effect.
It may seem that the scattering of your matter forbids reconstitution.
but in the endless passing of time, you will take on countless forms.
You will exist as you do now. inseparable from your nature.
In time, as the universe forever churns,
you too will have a new body, although
you will never be without form.
From now on to eternity.
You shall have your place.
